Dakota needs a new foster home!

"Dakota is a 7 yr. old vision impaired Blond Lab who has a great personality and loves to go for rides in the car. He uses his nose, hearing skills and his memory to walk his way through familiar spaces. He loves to go for walks but has to be guided away from obstacles. He is a sweet boy and a love bug, becomes very attentive if given good positive directions and compliments. He also loves to swipe your lunch or dinner if you leave food out.READ MORE to get more info on Dakota!

A March adoption story from David Blankenbaker

I cannot begin to tell you all the ways Leo (now named Barkley) is a wonderful dog. I am proud of all the compliments I get on how beautiful and well-behaved he is. Twice this week we've walked to a restaurant and had lunch on the patio. The other patrons cannot believe how he sits politely next to me while I eat… especially after they find out I've only had him a few days! The thing that makes me happiest is that he LOVES to play in the yard.

Thanks for everything, especially the important work you do. I did get the medical records and was able to order the dog license this morning.View all of our success stories...
